Acadia-Vermilion Rice Irrigating Company, Inc., instituted this action against Gustave Broussard and Joseph Hayes Broussard, seeking a judgment recognizing plaintiff as the owner of a servitude for irrigation purposes over and across lands owned by the defendants, and enjoining defendants from interfering with plaintiff's use of a canal located on those lands for irrigation purposes.
