This is an appeal by the defendant from a conviction in the Court of Special Sessions of the City of Yonkers, for allegedly violating Ordinance 16 — 1951 as amended March 27, 1962, in that on April 30, 1962, at about 10:25 P.M., he did operate a taxicab within the City of Yonkers without being properly licensed so to do.
