This is a suit by a member of the Brotherhood's Relief and Compensation Fund to collect benefits for being held out of service by his employer, L & N Railroad. The trial court heard the case without the intervention of a jury and ruled that the member should be awarded $4800.00 under the terms of the contract of membership.
