(Hn 1) This appeal presents the novel question whether the lessee in an oil and gas lease is liable to the lessor for damages done by lessee to the surface of the lessor's land by clearing the location in preparation for drilling an oil well which was never drilled due to the influx of salt water in adjoining wells.
