The plaintiffs (appellants) sued defendant (respondent) for damages sustained by them in the partial destruction of their house and much of its contents by fire alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant. The case was submitted on the theory of res ipsa loquitur. A nine-man jury returned a verdict for defendant. Plaintiffs have appealed from the judgment rendered thereon.
