This suit arises under the provisions of the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Title 33 U.S.C.A. § 901 et seq. Pascal Farina, Jr., husband of Mrs. Fliecy G. Farina, died on October 11, 1961, while in the employ of T. Smith & Son, Inc., a stevedoring company. He was, at the time of his death, in the course and scope of his employment as a longshoreman.
