On April 4, 1962 the plaintiff, Kenneth E. Lewis, entered into a $19,000.00 building contract with Richard V. LeBlanc and/or Regent Homes, Inc. for the construction of a dwelling on property owned by the plaintiff. The building contract provided for three progress payments of $4,000.00 each, and a final payment of $7,000.00 upon completion of the house.
