In a suit by the State of Texas against Charles R. Carswell and wife to condemn 0.999 of an acre of land out of a 3.02 acre tract for construction of Interstate Highway 10 the Carswells obtained a verdict and judgment awarding them $6,425.00. The State has appealed.

The Carswells owned a home consisting of 3.02 acres on a conventional highway which they could enter from their home and travel...
