BARNES, Circuit Judge:

An indictment in two counts was found by a grand jury charging appellant Marvin R. Cole with obstructing the due administration of justice, made a crime by 18 U.S.C. § 1503.

That section reads as follows:

"Influencing or injuring officer, juror or witness generally. "Whoever corruptly, or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication...
