These cases were consolidated and tried together. Defendant's car collided with the rear end of a car driven by plaintiff Verna L. Wilson. Plaintiff filed her declaration claiming injuries as follows:

"Contusions of the thoracic spine; injuries to the chest wall; whiplash injuries to cervical spine, as well as the thoracic spine; bruises and contusions over her entire back, chest, stomach, legs and body...
