Defendant has filed motions for a new trial and in arrest of judgment, following his conviction of a violation of the Small Loans Act, Act of June 17, 1915, P. L. 1012, as amended, 7 PS §751, et seq. The evidence established that defendant loaned the prosecutor, Thomas H.
