The controversy in the instant appeal arises from an agency contract by the terms of which the defendant granted the plaintiff exclusive territory in St. Louis and surrounding counties for the sale of a product known as a Port-A-Temp. It was an electrical fan and cooling appliance, in fact a portable air-conditioning apparatus. The plaintiff alleges that after the contract had been entered into and he had expended considerable sums in advertising...
