This is a personal injury action wherein plaintiff, Donovan J. Kessinger, seeks damages individually and on behalf of his five year old son, Donovan J. Kessinger, Jr., who was struck by a pickup truck owned and being operated by defendant, Lamar Ashford. After trial on the merits, our learned brother below rejected plaintiffs' demands against Ashford and his liability insurer, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
