JOSLIN, Justice.
This petition for a writ of certiorari was brought to review the decision of the zoning board of review of the town of Cumberland granting the application of Robert M. and Richard A. Froment, hereinafter referred to as the Froments, for an exception or variance to the zoning ordinance. Pursuant to the writ the respondent board has certified the pertinent records to this court.
