The plaintiff below, Jay Ison, aged 16, by next friend, his father, Murrell Ison, brought suit for damages for malpractice against the defendant, B.G. McFall, Doctor of Chiropractic, of Morristown, Tennessee. Murrell Ison, father of Jay Ison, brought a companion suit for loss of services, medical expenses, etc., arising out of the illness and injuries of his son, Jay Ison.
