During 1962, the state, upon the relation of the State Highway Department, instituted condemnation suits to acquire property for construction of highways between the Delaware Memorial Bridge and the Delaware-Maryland state line. Pursuant to the order of the Superior Court, twenty-three of these condemnation cases were consolidated for separate trial of certain questions common to each of these cases...
