Defendant-appellant Betty Jean Gilbert was charged with the crime of robbery, in violation of Penal Code, section 211. She pleaded not guilty, waived a jury, and was tried and found guilty by the court of second degree robbery. Further proceedings were suspended and probation was granted for one year subject to certain terms and conditions.
