McBRIDE, Judge.
At a tax sale held in the year 1931 for unpaid State taxes for 1930, certain property in Jefferson Parish, owned by and assessed to Harvey Canal Land & Improvement Company, was adjudicated to the State of Louisiana by the Sheriff for want of a bidder. Under Acts 1934, No. 161, the tax debtor made several partial redemptions of certain of the property, and on August 22, 1951, effected redemption of the balance thereof from the State.
