Howard R. Staub brought this action of replevin to recover an automobile, claiming right of possession. The United States marshal for the district of Connecticut had seized the automobile on November 9, 1960, under a writ of execution issued pursuant to a judgment which had been rendered against Staub in an admiralty action in the United States District Court for the district of Connecticut.
