The plaintiff (Clarkeson) was designated section engineer of section L of the Massachusetts turnpike. This section lies between Route 128 in Weston and Hopkinton. Clarkeson executed a contract with the authority in all essential respects (including certain specifications therein mentioned) similar to those considered in Chas. T. Main, Inc. (Main) v. Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, ante, 154, and in Fay, Spofford & Thorndike, Inc....
