PAOLINO, Justice.
This is an action of assumpsit to recover the balance alleged to be due on contracts for the purchase of a plant feeder and certain plants. A justice of the superior court, sitting without a jury, found for the plaintiff in the sum of $8.20, which was substantially less than the plaintiff claimed under the contracts. The case is before us on the plaintiff's bill of exceptions to such decision and to certain evidentiary rulings.
