Defendant, Joe Johnson, appeals from his conviction on a charge of armed robbery rendered after a bench trial in the Criminal Court of Cook County.

The complaining witness, Pearline Walker, testified that on June 18, 1959, at about 11:00 a.m., on Western Avenue near Washington Boulevard in Chicago, she was accosted by Johnson and an unidentified man and that they took $150 from her at knife-point. Miss...
