Respondent was admitted to the Bar in the Second Department in 1928. From that date until 1962, when he resigned, he had continuously been an outstanding law school professor. He has also engaged in active practice whereby he earned an enviable reputation for ability and character. In addition, to his credit, he was generous in the support of such members of his family as required assistance.
