HERGET, Judge.

To provide a throughway through the City of Baton Rouge permitting the unobstructed pathway for motorists, the State of Louisiana through the Department of Highways instituted this expropriation suit appropriating the house and a portion of the lot belonging to defendants, Franz Joseph Baddock and Irene Fontane Baddock.
