This action arose out of a rear-end collision between two motor vehicles. Plaintiff, whose car was struck from the rear, sued defendant for personal injuries and property damages of $9617.68. Defendant counterclaimed for similar damages of $1200.00. The jury returned a verdict in favor of defendant on plaintiff's claim and for defendant in the sum of $500 on his counterclaim.
