Defendant, charged under the Habitual Criminal Act (Sec. 556.280), was convicted of possession of a narcotic drug and sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. Sec. 195.020. Defendant has appealed but has filed no brief so we consider all grounds stated in his motion for new trial, made in accordance with Supreme Court Rule 27.20, V.A.M.R., which serve as assignments of error on appeal.
