The appellants, plaintiffs in the trial court, were guests in a car driven by Mr. Nixon and brought this action against the respondent, defendant, for damages alleged to have been sustained in an accident caused by the negligence of the respondent.

Respondent denied the allegations of negligence and set up an affirmative defense, alleging that the collision was entirely unavoidable on the part of the respondent...
