Plaintiff instituted action to recover damages for personal injuries received October 12, 1962, at Orly Airport, Paris, France, which were allegedly caused by the negligence of the defendant. Defendant moved for an order pursuant to CPLR 3211 (subd. [a], par. 8) to dismiss the complaint on the ground that the court had no jurisdiction over the person of defendant.
