Appellant pleaded guilty in the Superior Court of Alameda County, California, to charges of kidnaping and aggravated assault, and was sentenced to imprisonment. In due course he filed a petition for habeas corpus in the court below, alleging violations of his Fourteenth Amendment rights. The petition was denied.
