This action is brought against an originating carrier engaged in interstate commerce to recover damages for the loss of plaintiff's goods as a result of fire while the goods were in one of the freight cars of a connecting carrier. The jury returned a verdict for the defendant. Plaintiff appeals from judgment on the verdict.
