The plaintiffs on October 5, 1961, filed their action against the defendants seeking judgment on a promissory note alleged to have been signed and delivered on January 25, 1947. The note was in the principal sum of $10,000.00, with several years accrued interest. The defendants answered, raising among other defenses that of the statute of limitations.
