This litigation involves title to real property and was commenced as an action in ejectment.

On January 11, 1945, a deed from Mrs. M. E. Lumsden to Mary Jackson and W. J. Jackson, her father, was filed for record in Arkansas County. We will refer to the deeded property as Lot 12.
