This is a personal injury action arising from a rear end automobile collision. The trial judge directed a verdict in favor of the plaintiff-appellee as to liability, refused to submit to the jury the question of whether appellee was contributorily negligent, and submitted the question of damages to the jury which returned a verdict for appellee in the sum of $10,000.
