The plaintiff in error, Lee Lax, defendant, was convicted of receiving and concealing stolen property having a value of more than $100.00. The jury sentenced him to serve eleven months and twenty-nine days on the county road and that he pay a fine of $50.00. There were two other counts in the indictment charging that the defendant received and concealed other property, but the jury found him not guilty upon these two counts.
