This is an appeal from a judgment imposing a maximum term of 20 years on a charge of illegal possession of narcotics.

Preceding the trial of defendant-appellant Sullivan, a motion was made to suppress certain evidence on the grounds that it was the product of an unlawful search and seizure, and not incidental to a lawful arrest. The motion was denied. The questioned evidence was admitted by the trial judge, and, ostensibly, considered by the jury...
