In this action commenced August 22, 1963, the plaintiff, Douglas-Guardian Warehouse Corporation, a Louisiana corporation, with its principal place of business at New Orleans, hereinafter referred to as plaintiff, seeks to recover $19,611.87 from the defendant, its bonded warehouseman, Archie T. Nickell, a citizen of the State of Arkansas. Jurisdiction exists by reason of diversity of citizenship of the parties and the amount involved....
