These cases are part of a series of post conviction actions and motions filed by the petitioner, Willie Junior Rakes, following his conviction and sentence upon his separate pleas of guilty on the 13th day of February, 1961, to a total of eight indictments, each of which contained two counts charging him with removing and concealing illegal whiskey in violation of Section 5601(a) (12) of Title 26 United States Code.
