Plaintiff, a money lender doing business under the provisions of the Small Loan Act, LSA-R.S. 6:571 et seq., sued defendant for $282.00 balance due on a promissory note for $300.00, together with interest and attorney's fees, as provided in the note. From a judgment in favor of plaintiff, defendant appealed.

Defendant contends that his discharge in bankruptcy relieved him of liability on all debts listed...
