Notwithstanding plaintiff's allegation that it owned 4924 acres and defendants' denial of that allegation, the parties at the trial narrowed the dispute to the question of ownership of the land specifically described in the answer.

Plaintiff, to recover, had the burden of establishing it owned this area. Unless some error was made in the trial relating to plaintiff's title, errors, if any, with respect to defendants' title would not seem prejudicial...
