Shortly after nightfall on November 12, 1958, in the Mississippi River, the M/V WHAYNE H1 brought the head of her tow into collision with integrated Barge G-12 and M/V CARPORT3 while the latter vessels were at anchor in the harbor area at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
