Plaintiff received serious personal injuries on June 30, 1956, when the car she was driving ran into the side of a freight train which was standing on defendant's main line track at the point where it crosses 15th Street in Joplin, Missouri. In this action to recover damages for said injuries she obtained a judgment for $17,000. Defendant has duly appealed therefrom.
