This is a suit for workman's compensation benefits brought under the provisions of the Louisiana Workmen's Compensation Laws. Plaintiff alleged that he hurt his hand when he slipped and dropped a stick of pulp wood on it on October 5, 1960. The defendants, Edward C. Scogin, H. W.
