PALMORE, Judge.

KRS 64.255 authorizes the payment of salaries to magistrates for the performance of duties incident to the exercise of criminal jurisdiction. It became effective March 28, 1958. On April 8, 1958, the Perry Fiscal Court adopted orders setting the salaries of its magistrates at $200 per month and dispensing with all further compensation on a per diem basis.
