Defendant was convicted of violating 18 U.S.C. § 1821 by mailing into Michigan and Illinois dentures constructed from impressions taken by persons unauthorized to do so in those states.1 He was sentenced to six months imprisonment on Counts 1 and 3 of the indictment.2
