JOSLIN, Justice.

These two actions of trespass on the case for negligence were tried together before a jury in the superior court and resulted in verdicts for the plaintiff. In each case the defendant's motion for a new trial was denied by the trial justice. The cases are before us on each defendant's single exception thereto. All other exceptions being neither briefed nor argued are deemed to be waived.
