These proceedings consolidated for trial are expropriation suits brought by United Gas Pipe Line Company, a public utility, under the provisions of LSA-R.S. 19 et seq., seeking to expropriate a thirty foot servitude across the respective lands of the defendants for the construction of a two inch pipe line for the transportation of natural gas. Plaintiff alleges the construction of the pipe line is necessary in order to serve and meet the public demands...
