On January 29, 1959 and for a considerable period prior thereto the claimant was the owner of a farm consisting of approximately 186 acres situated in the Town of Pompey, Onondaga County, New York. The property was located four or five miles from Manlius on a State highway referred to variously upon the trial as Route No. 20N, 20SY, 92 and as the Cazenovia-Manlius highway.
