This action originated when Ralph Jeffress instituted a partition suit in which he alleged that he and the defendants as tenants in common each owned an undivided one-half interest in a 57-acre farm in Stoddard County and seven lots in Bernie. Admittedly, their title to the property came about in this manner: The title to all this property was in S. A. (Sadie) Piatt and on December 27, 1932, she conveyed it to Lottie Jeffress and William Piatt...
