Ramon Spector and Charles T. Scott were named as principal defendants in a nine-count indictment which was returned July 28, 1959. They were charged in count one with conspiracy, under the general conspiracy statute, 18 U.S.C. § 371, to violate the provisions of 18 U.S.C. § 1006 (defrauding federal credit institutions).
