This is an action for damages for personal injuries. A jury trial resulted in a verdict for plaintiff in the sum of $3,555. Defendant has appealed.

Plaintiff, Ralph Beckett, a 46 year old farmer, entered into a contract whereby the defendant, Harold Kiepe, agreed to furnish all material and to construct a pole barn on the Beckett farm at a total contract price of $3,000. The barn was to be 51' × 60' with a 30 foot clear span...
